FAQ Day of Procedure

What is a No-Needle, No-Scalpel Vasectomy?

The ‘Gold standard’ method of performing the procedure which decreases discomfort, minimizes complications and speeds healing. One small puncture to the skin is utilized to access the Vas Deferens. No more needle phobia or anxiety about a procedure “down there”. No stitches afterwards.

Can I drive afterwards?

Yes. Even if you use the Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) during the procedure, you can still drive yourself home.

How long am I in the office?

About 30 min. You can have people in the room with you. You typically will bypass the waiting room and get straight in. We want to make this process simple for you.

Do I need a referral or a consult?

Nope. We can handle everything over the phone ahead of time. We will send you all the information you will need for before and after the procedure.

Nervous?

We offer Pro-Nox. A 50/50 blend of Oxygen and Nitrous Oxide. On-demand use and quick on/quick off. You can drive yourself home afterwards. $50 add-on

Is it Effective?

Yeah. Like 99.5%. Nothing is 100% but we cut, cauterize and tie the tubes apart to ensure it works. You will have peace of mind by doing the sample test after 3 months

Any restrictions?

You need to be at least 23 years old.

Thankfully I will never be having another vasectomy, but if anyone needs one, I definitely recommend Happy Dad Vasectomy.
