Men in Ft Wayne, don't fear the vasectomy

openwaterswim.jpeg

We are talking to guys all across Huntington, Fort Wayne and Indiana about the vasectomy. A common question or fear is that sex will be different afterwards.

It won’t.

Your testosterone will be the same that comes from the testicles. The ejaculate is the exact same as that comes from the prostate. The only difference is that we ‘disconnect’ the tube that runs from the testicles to the prostate, so no sperm swims upstream.

How do we ensure a successful vasectomy?

This is key right? You want this to be a one and done event.

Here is the key- we do 3 things to ensure that the vas deferent. We cut both tubes that connect the testicle to the prostate. Then we cauterize those cut ends to seal them closed. We will also tie one end away from the other.

Really hard for those to connect again.

After the procedure we follow the evidence about when to recheck the semen to see if there are sperm. The best evidence says 20 ejaculates and 2 months after the procedure. We will check your sample in the office and give you the thumbs up at that point that you are officially a ‘Happy Dad Graduate’.
